Whether these are sold as Acme or as Westcott, they are very good scissors. I have a pair in my sewing basket and a pair beside my sewing machine. When you clip threads, the curved blades can get close to the seam without catching the fabric, I've used mine almost daily for going on a year, and they are as sharp as the day I received them.

I do a lot of sewing and these scissors are the perfect size for small projects and intricate cutting. They are a great value for the quality of scissor. Love them, may purchase more for gifts.

The Titanium Straight Scissors are not really anything more than two pairs of scissors that are sturdy and well made. I am happy with them and they work as they are supposed to. They are an overall good product.

Excellent product, much easier to use that a conventional scissors. The Titanium Nitride blade keeps it's cutting edge sharp much longer than most scissor blades. Just a quick touch up with a hand sharpener and they are as good as new.

I embroider and do hand-applique, and these scissors are very good. I keep them by my living room chair where I do my handwork.

The larger of these two scissors absolutely do what I need. Cutting fleece and cotton together, and many other types of fabric. The small ones are good for excess string, or paper (scrapbooking) etc. I wouldn't use them for fabric. Also, as a note, the small ones are helpful to trim up hair on dog bellies during the summer. ;) (I have a 3yo aussie mix.) Wish the handles were a smidge bigger.

I was skeptical, but these scissors are truly non-stick. I used them to cut my rubber stamps & foam adhesive, and there was no residue left on them. Amazing!
