A very simple design and works well to hold smaller or lightweight draperies. Keep in mind you only have about 12 inches to wrap your panel(s) with. I suggest you measure the circumference with a tape measure before ordering for up to 12" this would work. Magnets are strong and will keep your panel in place however if you plan on opening and closing these they may not hold us with constant use, not sure? These are transparent however not with darker fabrics, I will use them with white panels, then they will disappear, just the siver circle will show. They would be noticable to some degree with any color, the darker , the more noticable and I don't think that would look so great becaue the "fishing line" type of rope is thick enough that you would see it. I think that if you have white or light, or patterned draperies that aren't thick and your decor is contemporary these are an inexpensive way to get the job done!

- How accurate was the on site description of the product? good, the "champagne" color is closer to a brushed nickel, satin finish with a "very slight" champagne color cast.
