This is really an amazing idea to keep all your scrapbook junk organized and be able to make it look decorative in a room without looking like it has tons of gaudy shelves and sectionals. But in all honestly this was such a pain in the ... to put together. It comes with a video which really helps but this thing took me a week to put together and caused so much frustration! I began despising it. They make you use these screw bolt type things that don't work for ...!!! Sometimes they come off making you have some assemble re-dos. I was happy when it was complete. I did want a place to put a cropper hopper but there was none. It Has a lot of cubby like things to put stuff in but the cubby are on the cheap side, made of flimsy cloth. Not really worth what you pay this thing is outrageous price by the way. I had to find something to put scrapbook stuff in so I bit the bullet. Boy did I when I had to assemble it as well. But it's a very nice looking piece of furniture and looks a lot better than a bunch of shelves.
I love this scrapbooking armoire. I have a lot of scrapbooking supplies and I still do not have all the baskets filled. I am a single woman and I put most of this together by myself. When I got all the big parts together, a friend helped me connect them all. If you are considering getting one of these I would recommend you get it at overstock for the savings in shipping alone.

This is a great cabinet with many storage options. However, the wheels of the cabinet tore up my wood floor so I do not recommend using it on a wood floor without using something under it to protect the floor. There are wheels under each swinging door as well as the main body of the cabinet. I spoke with the owner of the company and we agreed on a monetary compensation. However after months of waiting, I received only less than half of the agreed upon amount. Therefore, I probably would not buy from this company again. So would I recommend it to a friend? Not without fair warning.
I agree with other reviewers that the cabinet is wonderful, but construction was VERY involved. Once built, though, it is sleek strong and lovely and seems to just swallo up craft clutter. Finally a crafting expense my fiance LIKES
As noted by other reviewers, this took hours and hours to put together. It didn't help that most of the pre-drilled screw holes didn't match up and needed re-drilling, or that sliding divider panels into place meant pushing over bolt tops, damaging the fiberboard. Setting the shelves was a major pain; certainly a better method could have been used - Ikea, anyone? The fabric storage containers are flimsy and the bottoms ill-fitting. I too, am missing shelves and container bottoms. Finally, the fold-away-table is so low, it can't be used with a regular chair. If one only considers the concept, the Workbox is worth every penny. However, the materials and overall quality make this a poor investment. Very disappointing and I would not recommend.
This is an extremely well designed and well engineered piece of furniture. It is worth the price, especially via Overstock where they pick up the heavy shipping costs. Yes, I had to ask a friend who knows what he is doing around a workshop to put it together, but wow! The design and quality of the box containers is beyond reproach. I have been a papercraft nut and hoarder since I started a couple of years ago. This product provides numerous options on how to sort and organize your products. If you happen to choose a placement that is not as convenient as it could be, you can switch out easily. Because compartments are varied in size and shape, it is not necessary to store multiple products in each case and I don't have to dig through much of anything to find what I want.
As others stated it took a long time to put together and I was missing a few pieces when it was shipped. I called the company and they promptly sent the missing parts. It has lots of storage for all your crafting items and I love that it can be closed to conceal my projects. All the shelves and totes are great to get organized. Be sure to measure your space as it was deeper than I expected and does require a fairly large place to house it.
I recieved this item so fast! It is a piece I don't know how I lived without. I am storing knitting and quilting supplies in it. It really went together fast but it is a two person job. I did have a couple of items wrong, one of the plastic bags was sewn inside out, and I am missing a bottom to one of the drawers. I would recommend this to anyone looking to organize.Love it!
Be prepared to spend a lot of time assembling this project!. My husband and I spend well over 10 hours with this project and have assembled numerous other furniture projects. This by far was the most challenging. The time might have gone faster if we were not missing 2 pages of the instruction manual. Also, the instructional CD was scratched and would not play properly in our computer. The craftmanship of the Scrap Box was fair at best and definitely doe not reflect the price that was paid. The veneer was thin and some of the pieces of the amoire did not line up with the instructions that we did have. I was also missing 8 shelves and 1 storage box. In all fairness to the Scrap Box company, they did ship me the missing pieces to me quite promptly and at no charge. The storage boxes are nice, although they are darker than the picture suggests ( more of a tan color, than cream) The plastic see through pouches are great and do provide convenient storage. I am glad that I found this on Overstock, so I did not have to pay the $200 in shipping that most companies charge for this product. Even though the Scrapbox has tremendouly helped me organize my scrapbooking space, I would definitely think twice before buying this product again.
This is a great product, very solid and well designed. It took my husband about 6 +hours to put together, and then another several hours and sore fingers putting in the shelf pegs but when the work was done it was so much fun filling it up and planning each shelf out. A bit pricey, but if your looking for the best scrap storage this is it.
Great piece of furniture for storing your scrapbook supplies. A bit pricey, but worth it once it is put together. It arrives in five boxes. It took my husband eight hours to put it together, but once it was done I filled it up and it does the job.
I love this armoire. It has so many pockets for all my card making supplies and rubber stamps. I didn't use the vinyl velcro-ed pouches. Instead I bought velcro strips and placed them on my rubber stamp boxes. The vinyll puches were not rigid enough to hold my stamps properly. Now I can see all my stamps in a glance. The canvas totes are sufficient to hold my card stock and other supplies. The assembly was a bit difficult because some of the labels were placed on the wrong side of the boards. But we figured it out after watching the video and referring to the instruction booklet. We had to take some pieces apart a couple of times. It took us about 5-6 hours to completely assemble the armoire. We did that over several days - not all at once.I would recommend this armoire to anyone who would like to be very organized. It allows me to work on my cards for shorter periods of time. I no longer have to have 3 or 4 hours to work on my crafts and lug all the supplies onto the kitchen table. The armoire has a table that drops down and I craft for a little while and put everything away. The armoire is very pretty too. It is very deep so make sure you have a good spot for it in your craft room.
