Great machine!
I bought this to replace my original Cuttlebug, which I broke because I tried to put too thick of a sandwich in it. My fault. I love the new design of the Cuttlebug! Totally works as expected. For anyone buying this for the first time, if you plan to use the thinner dies from other companies, you'll also have to purchase the "C" plate. Thankfully I still have my first one plus I had one on hand "just in case".

A must have for papercrafters!
I wasn't sure what embossing machine to purchase but I decided to buy the Cuttle Bug and I'm glad I did. It is light and portable but quite sturdy, easy to use, and so compact that it only takes up a small corner of my work area. Thanks to Overstock, it was also very affordable.

Machine cuts very clean crisp shapes
It is a good product for the price. I have used several dies so far, different brands and they all seem to work well. The handle seems a bit loose, but I believe that is due to the fact that it can be tucked into the machine when not in use and does not interfer with the cutting process, just something to get use to. It suctioned onto the table I was using very well so I did not have a problem with it moving around. I have tried felt and it does cut it, but you may need to crank it thru a couple of times. All in all, very happy with it

Great little embosser!
I use this machine primarily for embossing and it works perfectly. Easy to crank and I love how the handle folds up for easy storage. It is a must have for anyone who does paper crafts.

Cuttlebug insearch of dies.
I have just started paper crafting. I was anxious to purchase something to assist me and fiddle around with. This seems to be a great gadget, but the problem I have run in to is finding the dies to accompany the Cuttlebug. They are not available at my Michaels or Archivers stores. I understand that other manufacturer dies can work with this product, but again, obtaining them is the issue. It seems to me that the best way to obtain them are through the internet which makes me wonder about the sustainability of this product in the long term. Those who already have the dies seem to be very happy with the product. As an embossser, it is great, but you can purchase cheaper embossers.
