I'm nearly done stitching this needlepoint. The colors are absolutely gorgeous and cheerful.The only complaint I have is the color pattern stamped on the canvas does not always match the paper pattern color chart. Fortunately, this design is very forgiving. I've used the color photo of this design often to decide how to place the various colors. If you're a creative person who likes to stitch needlepoint, you'll enjoy this design very much.

The colors really are as vibrant as pictured. It really makes up nicely. It is a little larger than most pillow forms. You will want a scroll frame, not a fixed one! The quality (feel) of the wool is not superior, but for a kit and at such a great price, it's well worth it. I shopped around looking for this specific kit and it was much out of stock, but finally nabbed it here (third try!) and at the very best price.

I haven't yet started to work on the needlepoint poppy (I'm a little intimidated since I'm a novice) but thematerials are beautiful and the experience of ordering on the web and delivery was topnotch. This was my first experience with Overstock and I have already placed another order for a completely different item. Bobjay

This is a beautiful kit. Keep in mind that it is quite large and it takes a while to sort out all the colors; I recommend taping a small scrap of each color onto the chart as suggested by the manufacturer. Also, the chart is printed in two halves back to back because of the canvas' size and you will need to do some flipping back and forth for a while. As stated in an earlier review, the pattern printed on the canvas does not match up perfectly with the paper pattern. If you're a free spirit go ahead and wing it, and if you're a stickler like me who wants to hold true to the pattern then be prepared for a lot of counting, double-checking and squinting at the pattern. There are no major flaws, and the colors really are gorgeous. As long as the you can live with what I've mentioned, I highly recommend the kit.

This is a difficult pattern for a beginner. But the quality of the yarn is excellent as compared with some other needlepoint kits. Occasionally it is difficult to figure out where the stitches lie, but the instructions will clear up any uncertainty.
