This light is all I need as a source of light in my recording booth. I just need to be able to see my keyboard and a few items close by such as water and a notepad - but I don't want any glare to spill into the monitors at the same time. This product keeps the light entirely below the light as long as it isnt bounced off of something else below. And the color and brightness of the lamp is just amazing. Colors pop, lines look crist. Hell my water even looks fresher!

Very Handy This magnifier has a nice bright light that illuminates things so well. Just using a magnifier alone doesn't help if you don't have enough light! I have clipped this to my vanity when I needed it to see the clasp on a necklace that has always been difficult to open. I clipped it to my kitchen island counter to finally see and repair a couple of pair of glasses. This in just the few days of owning it! Great product!!
