    This item appears to be sturdily built with good attention to detail. The lighting is excellent. The head of the unit (where the lens and lighting is located) is fairly heavy, so be sure to tighten that joint so it does not drop onto your work. I highly recommend this product, and plan to buy another one for myself soon.

    Clamps easily to desk, sewing cabinet, and kitchen island. I won't (can't) sew without it. I don't have to use my reading glasses at all when using this lamp, the size of the magnifier is perfect, and the light is very clear. Two friends have also bought this lamp after seeing mine, and they are just as pleased.
