Encaustic
I bought this heat gun for its small size and soft heated air flow.The heated airflow is the right size to heat just the surface of the new Hot Cake wax paints available now so that a small amount of paint is available without melting the entire Hot Cake.I am going to try putting it on a temperature control to see if the air flow can be moderated. With its small size, the tool would be useful in the painting process if this works.
