there is no lighting with this item yet the words LAMP and LIGHTING and the description lead you to believe it has lighting with it. Great magnifier, but should be described as ONLY a magnifier!

Purchased this item as a gift for a friend who does a lot of hand sewing. She absolutely loves it! She is able to attach to her sewing table, sewing machine, etc. This was a "home run" gift!

I bought this to use for cross stitch but am finding an additional benefit of magnifying the instruction page of my piece. I can see all of the tiny symbols and lines! My eyes are at ease and I won't "guess" at a symbol I couldn't see. I think it will have other uses around the house.

This product is very easy to use and it is very helpful. The clip is very strong. But, please make sure you have a paper or cloth between the clip and your needlework, so it will not soil your work.

This is light weight and very comfortable to use. Size is perfect, and viewing throw the magnifier is amazing.

I don't know how anyone there is measuring this magnifier, but it is not 7" as stated. It is only 3-1/2" in diameter. Very disappointing.

Bought this for my mother and she loves it. She was having trouble seeing to do her cross stitch and this has really helped. She now can see the smallest of holes and it is not in her way when sewing. She even puts it on her paint by numbers and her sewing machine when needed.

This is exactly as described. I do cross stitch and it works great for seeing the smaller count fabrics. Overstock's price is the best on the internet and couple with the cost of shipping, and you can't go wrong.

My dad has macular degeneration and this really helped him to be able to read the newspaper in the morning easier with a good overhead light. He loves to read and it is very difficult for him and this did help him alot.

I repair vintage jewelry & this little magnifyer is very useful to me.I would have loved it even more if it had a light & I wouldhave paid more. I like the fact that it is not a cumbersomeas most magnifyers. For the price it was an excellent buy.
