Works Very Well! I've dropped this many a time, it's not at all fragile. Clips great to book covers. Nice bright light, I use rechargeable AAA batteries that work well. I love not having to reach up and turn a light off when I'm sleepy, just a little click and it's lights out for me and my book light. My son says I look like a miner in a cave but it creates a nice feeling of just me under the covers reading a favorite book. Highly recommend for the price.
