I got this chair 2 weeks ago to use at a standing desk, but I'm 6'4", so the 36" max seat height (actually 34") isn't tall enough and my desk isn't adjustable. I couldn't find a taller one in my price range, so I'm dealing with it. Overall it's pretty comfortable - the mesh back is nice. When I first sat in the chair, I had the overwhelming sense that I was going to tip forward. It's not well-balanced in that way. But it has a removable lumbar support that I removed so I could sit back further. That and a footrest I made (putting my feet on the foot ring increased the falling forward sensation) make it much better. The arms adjust up and down a bit, although the mechanism is far from smooth or easy to operate, and the rests are made of a just barely rubbery plastic material which is fairly comfortable. The fabric is pretty good quality, but on the cheap side. Overall, I would recommend this chair to a friend, but mostly to my shorter friends. :)
- How did the image on site compare with the actual product? Basically the same. The fabric actually looks better in real life than in the pic.
- How accurate was the on site description of the product? Fairly accurate. The seat height does just barely reach 36 inches, but when you sit on it it goes down about 2 inches.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Pretty sturdy construction, although a bit wobbly when the seat is raised high. The foot ring tends to slip down, no matter how hard I tighten it.
