Magnetic strips come off
You'll need the We R Memories Keepers magnetic cutting pad for this trimmer to work well. However, the glued magnetic strips continue to come off as you move it on the mat. I don't use it much while scrapbooking - it's a pain to use. Buy the American Crafts Cutup trimmer instead. It costs more, but a better trimmer if you want decorative cuts.

Magnetic Twist Trimmer Combo
Once I received the trimmer I read the instructions only to find out that you really need the magnetic self-healing pad that goes with the trimmer. If you have trouble with your hands, i.e. arthritis, it might be a little difficult to keep the wheel of the selected trimmer turned long enough to cut the paper.
