Tho Overstock's price was not the lowest price I found on line for this item, but it was the lowest when the shipping was added. It's a great buy for anyone who wants lots of colors for their home embroidery machine at a reasonable price. The patterns on the CD were rather crude but might be usable if doing things for small children. The "extras" were not as impressive as the threads.

Product was as described. An excellent value. It came with several extra promotional items not listed in the description -- much to my delight. I wish I could have found a listing of the thread colors included, but overall this was a great value. Shipping was fast with no damage.

I recently purchased a sewing / embroidery machine and needed embroidery threads so the Madeira Treasure Chest was perfect! Even better was the great price Overstock.com had...it was much less than what the local retail store was selling it for. There is a beautiful array of thread colors and several different types of threads, which is great for a beginner. There was an added surprise of a couple of different types of stabilizers and a pair of scissors as well! The chest is really nice too! My order was received promptly and in great condition. This is terrific, so many colors of thread. This will cover anything you have to embroider. I only wish that it came with black bobbin thread along with the white. The quality of the box is well worth the money. I would reccomend this to anyone who does any embroidery, it will blow your mind at all the colors.

Fabulous product at a great price! I've bought Madeira thread collections before when I first started machine embroidery, but always needed more colors. This product solves the problem. The color chart (included) is also a must have because it is true to color. On the color chart, I've circled the thread color numbers that I already have, so that I'll use up the old stock before using the new. This truly is a 'Treasure Chest' for anyone who loves machine embroidery!

First off, I am thrilled to be able to find so many thread colors in the same package. I have looked for packages that had threads together and was never able to find so many together. It is absolutely the best I have found. The thread colors are great. When I go to start a project, I like knowing that I will have enough thread and colors to complete the project. The threads sew very well. I have tried other threads in the past and they jam in the machine. These threads do not jam in the machine. It has made using my embroidery machine much more enjoyable. I absolutely love this product. Having the threads in a storage chest makes my sewing room look very neat. I highly recommend this to anyone that has an embroidery machine. I love it. The thread colors are like a new box of crayons! The treasure chest came very quickly during the Christmas holidays and received no damage in transit. Very well packaged. The free embroidery designs weren't very exciting but there was a very nice seam ripper and thread color chart. The price was the best I could find. I am going to have a great time using the different colors in my embroidery designs.

This chest arrived in perfect condition in a timely manner. The thread colors were beautiful and sewed out perfectly without any breakage.

I think that it is a great value for the money I spent. I haven't used it yet, but the thread looks great. The teak box that it comes in is very nice.

I contempated buying this for several weeks. Did I really need all those colors? I am SO glad I decided to purchase the chest! I love having the wide selectioon available every time I sew. The chest, thread and accessories are all great quality. I am VERY pleased. I loved mine so much, I ordered a second one for my sister. Both arrived quickly and in great shape.

Great quality name brand embroidery thread. Large assortment of colors to choose from. The included thread color charts make selecting colors easy. I had no problems with thread breakage like I did with the discount embroidery thread I was previously using. Box is attractive and sturdy. Although I haven't used them yet, the seam ripper and designs are a nice bonus . I was missing two colors and Overstock was quick to ship out replacements. Thanks!
