  Directions are screwy as said in the title. Also, this publisher claims a copyright that doesn't exist on the finished products made from the directions. So if you make one of these hats and want to sell it, the publisher has claimed copyright on your finished product. I don't think so! Skip this one.

  This is a must-have book for anybody who is learning to tat or wants to tat. It has easy-to-understand instructions on many different tatting techniques and simple diagrammatic patterns. It also has a great section on the history of tatting. While I love this book, it was shipped to me in a flimsy envelope. The paperback book suffered damage during the shipping process. When I opened the envelope, I was disappointed to see that the book was bent quite severely along the spine in several different places. As a result, the book didn't look new at all. It might have been a used copy, for all I know. I will not be purchasing any paperback books from Overstock ever again. I should have bought this book from a specialty lace shop because I know they would have done a better job with the shipping. Don't be a sucker like me and fall for Overstock's free shipping.

  If you buy this thinking you will get equal treatment for crochette projects you will be very disappointed. Almost all knit patterns with very few for crochette. I really have no use for it and wasted my money!
