Had a bit of a rough start getting the inside dimensions (to determine if sewing machine will fit) but all ended well.My Designer SE Limited fits comfortably inside the main case (with room to spare) and the hard case for my embroidery unit fits in the embroider unit case. There IS a metal frame (it is not mentioned & I was told there was not a frame in the sewing machine bag) which makes the case more durable and protects the machine. There are lots of pockets for extra storage inside & outside the case. This set sells for around $300 in my area so this was an excellent price.
