I have always worked with yarn on my needlepoint projects, this one has embroidery thread. It is a little different for me as you have to separated each thread to give it a fluffier look, but I think the outcome will be a beautiful stocking.

There's a long way to go to complete this stocking, but I got off to a quick start, because the instructions are very clear and the thread is easily accessible, divided and labeled to make it easy. I can't wait to see it completed!

Great product! Quality is wonderful and easy to work, Thread is already seperated and labeled. Only drawback, the needle provided is too small! Hope you saved old ones from other projects!

This is an excellent product. It will take longer than you think to finish because the canvas has a small grid. There are so many colors that you can create subtle gradations that enhance the picture.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality is excellent. The thread is fine and doesn't fray. The colors are graded well. The instructions are clear and detailed with a large color chart.

I liked working on this stocking so much that I ordered another kit, to make a stocking for a nephew for Christmas this year. It looks great finished and the stitching looks complicated but is relatively easy. I've done dozens of needlework projects over the years and this was one of my favorites. I was able to complete it in about six weeks by working an our or two most nights.

I have completed 5 needlepoint stockings for my family and this may be my favorite. The floss and yarn was conveniently coded and organized to prevent mistakes. My only complaint is that the needle provided was way too small, almost absurd! Thankfully I had kept the other needles and I was able use those.

Great quality product. Very organized and easy to figure out what color goes with the pattern. Yarn is very neat and directions clear and understandable. I have never done a needlepoint project before, and I am very happy I started with this -- easy to understand. Stocking is also a great size, looking forward to having it finished by Christmas (I hope!). Would purchase again.

Thread colors are brilliant. Thread is already sorted by color. Everything you need to start except the frame to anchor it to. Love it.
