This is a good beginner sewing kit, with pre-punched holes in the fabric. The plastic needle provided is useless; it broke very quickly. You will need to provide a needle with a large eye for the thread. For a couple stitches where pre-punched holes are not provided (nose, eyes), it is very difficult to get the thread through. With those comments said, my child really enjoyed making this bear and was very pleased with the final product!
