Great cutting mat
This is the second Fiskars cutting mat I've bought - The light yellow color makes the lines easy to see and I like that it seems a little more flexible than the omnigrid mat. The ergo rotary cutter is exceptional - the offset handle really makes it easier on my hands (arthritis). I wouldn't go back to a straight blade now.

large clear & clean
This mat is a great size for my quilting projects. The numbers and markings are clear to read. I don't think the description says this mat is "self-healing" but I have been using the rotary cutter on it and I have not seen any cut marks on the mat.

great kit!
Love the product a great starter kit anybody that sews needs a set like this.... It has helped alot with my last several projects, my only wish is the mat could be a little bigger but its great to start out with!!!
