This is my third pair of scissors, originally purchased for thread trimming, but soon commandeered for trimming a broken nail. Discovered there is no better scissor for children's nails. Also I use them for adult toenails softened by the shower. They are small enough and sharp enough to reach any cuticle fragment. Would not be without a pair.
