I know how to quill but, using this punch is so much easier than doing the actual quilling! I have followed the instructions on the back of the package, which helps a lot! All I have to do is to punch out, from the edge of a 12"X12" piece of scrapping paper or cardstock a 12" piece. If that piece is out of plain paper/cardstock, EK suggests that I punch out a second 12" piece from a patterned piece. When I have punched out the two 12" lengths, I lightly glue them together so that one "petal" is over a space - sort of offside to the length below it. Then, all I have to do it to tightly wrap it around a pencil or quilling tool, add a little glue from a glue gun once in awhile, and keep wrapping until I have rolled up the entire two layers. Voila! I have a beautiful flower! I am done! All I have to do is to add some leaves, if I desire. Using this EK Punch is so much easier than any other way I have found to make a quilled flower. Try this one and then come back for the other two varieties!
