I make custom costumes for a living, and I purchased this mannequin for a plus-sized customer. With this purchase, I now own all of the various Dritz mannequins. For the price, I feel that the full line of Dritz mannequins are worth the investment. They are easy to set, and have a nice sturdy stand. The hem guide is very useful at times. At times, I add extra padding to certain areas of my mannequins to aid in recreating different sizes, especially at the bust. It's easy to add a stuffed bra, or some strips of batting for padding hips or whatnot for a prefect fit. The markings on the stand are useful, since they include a shoulder height feature, which is a nice way to determine the proper height of a person, since mannequins don't have heads.

... buy a Dritz. I have been sewing for over 20 years and have studied at FIDM, so I know a little about this stuff. Ideally, I would love to have a Professional Dress form that I could pin into and manipulate, but for the most part, I am a home sewer. I make historic costumes for myself and my family, but this is the first real Dress Form that I have bought for my size and I am very happy with it. I went for the full figure model because I am a size 24 top with 28 bottom. This has the largest measurements I could get and it fits my clothes, so I am very pleased with it. Being an adjustable form will allow me to use it, even if I get the gumption to lose the weight I need to. Great price for a good product.

Was not sturdy at all. Very cheap. Knobs was broken and hard to adjust knobs.

I had been looking for a full figure dress form for some time and most of the ones I found were very expensive for just infrequent personal sewing. This one was very reasonably priced and was just what I was looking for. It was delivered on the day that it was supposed to and was in perfect condition. It was actually more sturdy than I expected. I have already used it and my dress fits perfectly! I love it! I would definitely recommend this seller as well as the product.
