I make jewelry and this is a great method for storing jump rings, beads and findings. The variety of internal box sizes is great. There are only two of the larger boxes in each kit but you can order more from the manufacturers website. You can remove just the container you need from the overall box, making it very easy to pull out small pieces to your work space without having to deal with the entire case. The six different internal storage boxes make it easy to choose a storage size just right for the job. Pay close attention to the dimensions in the listing and you wont be disappointed by the size. i bought this for scrapbooking and it is way too small. only the two largest boxes are useful for scrapbooking. i really would have liked to have seen pictures that helped to show the real size of the boxes. the cost of return shipping with Overstock was about 1/3 of the cost of the product. So, i'm keeping it and giving it to my grandmother who has taken up jewelry making for Christmas.

I found that the concept of little boxes in a box is way too complicated because you spend most the time trying to fit the little boxes in just to close the big box. I just want to get what I need and the little boxes are just too much stacking.

In the past I used boxes that had a bunch of compartments and a big lid. Trying to get little tiny brads out is difficult and it was impossible to tip the entire thing without everything falling out. This solved all my problems. Each box closes so I can pour the contents into my hand and get what I need. The only improvement they could make is to include a few more "big" boxes but you can buy them individually. This is the 3rd one I have purchased and it's a gift.I do scrapbooking but this box could be used for beads or jewelry-making.
