It comes apart for storage. Works great for any kind of cupcake. Weird that it only holds 23 and not 24?

I bought the cupcake stand for a dessert party I was attending. While putting it together I struggled with the threading, which did not line up right. The stand was crooked and leaned. I don't think cupcakes would have stayed on it. It was cute and inexpensive, but I got what I paid for. Maybe mine was defective, but overall it felt cheap. I returned it. Not worth the price...even though it's cheap.

I sent this item as a gift to a friend. She has been making cupcakes of all flavors and writing blogs about her efforts. The goal is to find the best cupcake flavors for a Christmas dessert evening she is hostessing. She expressed to me her concern about how she would display the cupcakes and I found this product. I sent it as a surprise. She loves it. The cupcakes are nicely presented and she is going to order another for the other end of the table. She's so very pleased with the product. Great value for the price.
