This is the 9th stocking I've made for family members. It is easy to read the instructions and the material is of good quality.

  • EDMUNDS Knows What Stitchers Need!

I have loved stitching for sixty years and do even more so now that I own three EDMUNDS stitchery frames. I could not be happier with them since they make it easy and relaxing to work for hours on needlework projects . For smaller projects, I love to use the SIT- ON Stitchery Frame; but for wider projects (20 inches +) I prefer to use the Edmunds Adjustable Table/ Lap Needlework Stand because its two legs support the stretcher bars well, and it lets you work in a relaxed position that does not strain your shoulders. This frame is also ideal for other projects, such as quilting and rug-hooking. For extra wide projects, you can acquire (buy or have made) longer split scroll bars in addition to those that come with this frame; and you will still enjoy the ease with which you can work when your project is attached and fastened into this frame. No holds barred - needlework rules!

Have been a needle worker for 50 years - this is the first time I am able to work on cross stitching in the car. The stand helps stabilize the working surface so that those small bumps that used to make me lose my place (I do counted cross stitching) are no longer a problem. Also the way the double ring holds the work up off of your lap makes it much easier to insert needle and pull thread through without having to elevate the ring - so much more relaxing! I am so happy to have found this - would never work with the old fashioned single rings again! (But, if you prefer single - this is just 2 rings that "attach" by inserting 3 legs into holes on each ring - so you actually can use either ring alone if you prefer.)
