I would be completely satisfied with the chair if it only would go a little lower. The heighth it will go to is terrific, but it won't go low enough to let me sit down on it without proping the back against a counter so it doesn't roll. I also wish now, that I hadn't gotten a cloth fabric covering because you can't slide back on the seat becauseitis so high to sitdown on. Otherwise it is agreat product and better than I expected... This is really built for a TALL person.

I got this chair 2 weeks ago to use at a standing desk, but I'm 6'4", so the 36" max seat height (actually 34") isn't tall enough and my desk isn't adjustable. I couldn't find a taller one in my price range, so I'm dealing with it. Overall it's pretty comfortable - the mesh back is nice. When I first sat in the chair, I had the overwhelming sense that I was going to tip forward. It's not well-balanced in that way. But it has a removable lumbar support that I removed so I could sit back further. That and a footrest I made (putting my feet on the foot ring increased the falling forward sensation) make it much better. The arms adjust up and down a bit, although the mechanism is far from smooth or easy to operate, and the rests are made of a just barely rubbery plastic material which is fairly comfortable. The fabric is pretty good quality, but on the cheap side. Overall, I would recommend this chair to a friend, but mostly to my shorter friends. :)

Now that armchairs have become such a common household item that it is almost ludicrous to think these pieces of furniture were once exclusive to the wealthy and powerful. When you want to relax and read a book or lounge in front of the fire, a chaise is the perfect piece of home furniture for the job. Plus, the curved shape and customary leather or fabric upholstery of a chaise lounge adds an extra level of comfort you can't get anywhere else. Although the living room is probably the most popular location for your chaise, there is no reason why such a comfortable piece of furniture shouldn't be used in other rooms throughout your home. Here are some ideas beyond the living room on how to spread the comfort.
You don't sit down on a bar stool; you sit up on a bar stool. And that seems to make all the difference. People sitting on stools seem to be much more lively and talkative.
