    I bought this as a gift for my elderly mother, whose eyes are just not what they used to be. Her poor eyesight has really hindered her ability to sew, quilt, knit and machine embroidery. The magniflex lighted magnifier has changed her whole world. She uses it daily in her sewing room. All I could do was laugh at her when she got it out of the box and said she couldnÂ’t see the symbols to put the batteries in the base. I told her to twist the arm and look thru the magnifier. It worked like a charm. She loves the fact that you can unclamp it and move it around and use it with the wall plug or just batteries. Moments after I placed this order I realized that this item was going to ship to me. I made one call to Overstock and got a customer service person right away. She was able to change the shipping address for me. There was no hassle, only a complete willingness to make sure I was very happy with my purchase, even though I messed up the shipping address. Overstock's customer service is absolutely outstanding. This is the main reason I keep shopping with them. ItÂ’s too bad other online retailers donÂ’t treat their customer the same way.
