I bought this machine about 5 years ago, and I have put a lot of money into it. I am currently browsing the reviews looking for a new one. I have had tension problems from day one, but I have worked my way through them, and I am tired of ripping seams out! I have taken it if for repair at least once a year or more. It runs great for a few months and then I start having the same old tension problems. I now am having bobbin problems and spent more money to have the bobbin case replaced.It has a lot of great stitches, and great features but my machine has just not been dependable.

Excellent product. I was very worried that this product was not good since it was so cheap but i cannot be happier on this puchase.
This is an amazing and very well priced product. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I think I would recommend the machine. It's a nice looking unit. However, it arrived without any of the necessary accessories. I've finally figured out how to get them but haven't been able to try the machine and won't be able to until the accessories arrive.

It was unbelieveably easy to operate. I have had a singer for 30 years and this is much faster and easier to operate. It even threads itself and for someone approching 50 that makes it one of the best points to purchase it. no more squinting to see if you got it in that little hole.

I am so glad I bought this mahcine. the instructions are really great and I monogrammed the first time I ever used it and it came out very good. I bought another embrodiery machine and it did not have all the features this machine has. I have never sewed before I had bought this machine and it was really easy. Couldn't be happier with this purchase!

How much do I love this machine? I bought a second one so I could be embroidering on one and sewing on the other. This is without a doubt the best machine for the money. Overstock is definitely the best price, I did my homework!

I'm an older inexperienced sewer - I had a few minor problems at first (not the machine - me) Read the instructions and have fun....it's great. I can't find enough things to embroider. I want the accessories to have more patterns now...it has lots with it and they are very easy to use, but the more you use it, the more you want to use it. I'd recommend it to anyone!

Have been reading and trying to sew and embroider with the machine since it arrived. It will not sew no matter how many times I start over, following instructions and changing the tension, needle, etc. If I could do the purchase over I would buy another machine. It should not be this difficult since I ave been sewing since the 60's.

My machine was delivered in record time at a great shipping price was unbeatable. I love this machine. I have had no trouble with it at all. I have never done machine embroidery, but I was doing it within an hour of the machines arrival. The needle threading feature is wonderful. No problems there. If it misses threading, it is because I have done something wrong. It is so easy. It is simple to thread, wind bobbins, change thread color in your pattern, reload a new bobbin in the middle of your embroidery. I can't say enough good about this machine. I just wish it could use a larger hoop. But, my grandchildren are still small and it is just what I need for them. I would (actually already have) recommend this machine to anyone, expecially those just starting out with machine embroidery. Overstock.com has my vote!

The machine was sent to my wife in perfect condition and arrived in just a few days.The instructions were very easy to follow and she was embroidering in seconds.She had never embroidered before and is amazed at how easy and fun it is.She absolutely loves the machine.This is a great starter machine.She would love to be able to purchase embroidery cards from you. Will you have them at some point?Kudos to Overstock.com

I was so happy to receive this machine, BUT, it would not thread its
self, I am unable to wind a bobbin on the machine,[must use my other machine to wind a bobbin for this machine.] I did some creative things with the machine and all of a sudden it will not sew at all. I don't have a phone number to call for instruction to repair the problem and will have to go to a local company for help I guess. NO ADDRESSES FOR ASSISTANCE.

I got the machine and it didn't work. I kept getting the error message "lower the pressure foot" I had to take it to a repair shop and they couldn't fix it. They told me that it was the pressure foot sensor. I have not gotten to use it once yet. I do plan on getting another one, hopefully the new one will work. I had to return this one to overstock.

What can I say? This machine is great, great, great, great. For a refurburished machine, it looked very new and the accessories for the machine were sealed as if they had never been opened. The automatic needle threading on the machine is wonderful, no more straining to thread the little eye of the needle. Don't have to use the foot pedal to sew, just press a button on the machine and start sewing. The machine also has three choices of sewing speeds, slow, medium and fast. So if you're just learning to sew, select slow and off you go. Great embroidery designs. Just purchased additional accessories for the machine like presser feet and another embroidery hoop. Buy this machine, it's easy to use and you will love, love, love it. And what a great price.

The directions were very clear.
The set up was very easy. I bought this for the embroidery and it is beautiful! The selections are great. I taught my friend who does not sew at all how to use this and she loved it!
I have used this only for one project (i put initials on 25 hankies for a bridal shower) but look forward to many more fun projects!

So far, this machine has been great. It is much lighter that my old machine and does so much more. This is my first embroidary machine and I am having fun with that. It is easy to use, though going to an electronic machine took some figuring out to just sew a straight line. Once I got that, all was good. It is refurbished and there was some slight scratches on the machine, though not bad. Overall, I am really happy with the machine and can't wait to get into it some more. Great value and does so much.

I am so excited about this machine. I haven't even began to use all of the features. I can't wait. But, the basic features have been easy to use. However, make sure (like another poster said) to read the directions good. I learned that the hard way.

Still has some issues. Great appearance looks great and runs but not without a flaw or two. Great for what I nedd it for, but all of my grand ideas will need to be reworked, REMEMBER to get stabilizer to embroider just a tip I learned the hard way. Overall, a great machine for small projects, just expected a little more durability for the machine and smoother processes.

At first I was skeptical... a great machine at a great price. I did get one about 3 years ago last Christmas. After receiving it, I had a slight learning curve. I soon discovered that the machine was broken and that I was not as bad a learner as I thought I was. Overstock helped me with their guarantee and took care of everything!!!!! I was soooooo pleased. I have been sewing and embroidering ever since. Go ahead... try one for your self!
