I bought this as a Birthday Gift to my Fiancee' and she loves it! If you are looking for a right priced Brother or comparable sewing machine, you can't go wrong with this from Overstock. Wondeful!

I bought this machine to learn how to do simple monongraming & brush up on my sewing (hadn't sewed in years). Its very easy to learn on & do basic projects. The monograming does only monogram small images, but for the money you can't beat it. I have had a problem every now & then with the thread getting tangled up & messing up while monograming, but it has only happened a couple of times & could very well be an operators error. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase!

good machine, it beats my singer embroidery machine in many areas. esp threading the needle. the threader on this machine is amazing. it embroiders fairly well but you will probably want to get more software with more designs for it eventually. it sews well too. excellent machine for the money.

I have done more sewing than I have done in years with this machine. Lots of different stitches to use at the touch screen. Have not tried the embroidery yet but if it is as simple as running the machine it should not be hard to do. Love it! Highly recommend it!

I love this machine. If you are looking to step up from an old machine this is a great step. It does so many things and the push button start/stop, thread cutter, reverse, and seflthreading make it a breeze to work. If you work at your kitchen table and yours is a high counter top and a peddle if out of the question, then this is the machine for you. The new machines are so much easier to run and easy to understand. You will be very pleased with this machine.
