    This is my second purchase of this machine--this one will be given as a Christmas gift. I purchased it based on by first Brother XL3750 machine from Overstock which was a referb. This machine is new and a great price. I think this machine is a little work horse. I have used mine for all my sewing needs from jeans alterations to quilting to sewing tricot, t-shirt knits, upholstery fabrics and more. I've never had a problem of any kind with the Brother XL3750. There is nothing negative I can say about the machine. I am very happy with it. Thanks!

    Bought this machine to replace an old one.. This is my first Brother machine and have used it right away to make costumes for my two grandchildren for a church pageant .Definitely a versatile , easy to use machine.

  • So easy a cavewoman can do it!

    OK- so Im not really a cave woman but I am the kind of girl that will take a garment to the cleaners for a button to be sewn on. I am currently recovering from a surgery and it requires me to be off work a few months so I thought I would learn to sew and bought this machine. I love it- it it easy to understand and to use. I am making a quilt with it and it is a good machine for this.

    I purchased this machine for my beautiful bride! It is exactly what she wanted. I will say it again, I absolutely thought that the machine was BRAND SPANKING NEW! BETTER THAN NEW! From now on I am buying everything from "Overstock.Com"

  • sewing machine

    My Viking machine died after thirty years of great service. I wanted something that would allow me to do a variety of projects using a variety of materials. I wanted mechanical and not computerized, user friendly and pleasant to use. This machine has met each of my goals and is a pleasure to use. I am very happy.

  • Good for simple sewing not so much for quilting

    You get exactly what you pay for. If you want a good, inexpensive sewing machine to make garments and do small projects, this machine is the one you want. If you want to use this machine for quilting, I recommend you purchase a different model. You cannot move the needle left or right on this machine within the strait stitch. This means you cannot use the quarter inch foot because the stitch it will give you is more like an eighth inch instead. Other than that, this little machine is quite the work horse.

Hello rwbuchanan, we were unable to find this information specifically but the following features make quilting, sewing and mending easy and enjoyable. Quilters appreciate the oversized table, walking foot, quilt guide and the built-in quilting stitches. Mending is less of a chore when you can stitch professional-looking hems with the built-in blind hem stitches and replace lost buttons with the easy button sewing attachment. HELLO, THE SECOND QUESTION THAT WAS ASKED WASN'T REALLY ANSWERED. ABOUT THE MACHINE COMING WITH A PEDAL AND POWER CORD, DOES IT? AND DOES IT COME INSIDE A PERMANENT BOX, OR INCLOSURE. Good morning, This item does come with a pedal and attached power cord. It also does come with a case to store the machine in. This comes with a walking foot, quilting foot, darning foot, button hole foot, button sewing foot, quarter inch foot, blind stich foot, narrow hemmer foot and a zipper foot. I hope this helps you.
