i bought this for my sister who just started sewing but has some pretty elaborate ideas. she seems to like all of the functions and said that it is easy to load. cant speak to durability since we just got it. but seems to be a good value for the quality.

I had been looking for this sewing machine for a while, I had used it in a beginner's quilting class and I loved it. The price was well below any other advertised I had seen and it came promptly without any damage.

My wife wanted a light weight machine. This machine is light enough that she could carry in the car to her quilting sessions. It is simple enough but yet has all the features she needs. Cost was the primary reason for buying this model. Being refurbished, it still seems to function fully.

This machine is very easy to use and works well. I purchased this machine for my daughters, ages 9 and 13, to learn to sew and have been very pleased. It's durable and the stitching looks great.

Machine has great features and was an excellent price! Worked very well the first couple times, then I got a thread jam error. I called the phone number for warranty service, and immediately they said they would ship another machine and include a prepaid label to send back the broken one. So I got excellent service for no additional charge! I am very happy. As far as I know the machine works great unless you get a thread jam. Waiting for the new one to arrive now.

This machine was purchased as an x-mas gift for my 22 yr old daughter. She found the instructional video most helpful VS the written booklet. She has been practicing so far and is now ready to start her first project. Her feedback is all positive and can't wait to use some of the decretive stitching on curtains, skirts, linens etc. I thought it was a terrific value, it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I did not know what I was looking for in a machine so the honest reviews really helped me decide. This was my first purchase on O and I will be back for more!

sewing machine was a birthday gift for my daughter-in-law. I am a long-term sewer and reviewed many machines before the purchase of the Brother machine. The instructions are very clear; machine parts are easy to locate; case seems sturdy. I believe this machine will serve her well fo rmany years.

this machine works really well, i love it. it looks brand new and runs really well. very easy instructions and i made somethings already and im a beginner. this is my first machine i would recommend it to anyone if you are a beginner or an expert. only problem is my needle broke, but that was probably my fault. it had replacements so it was no big problem. overall excellent.

My husband bought this sewing machine for me. I did all the research and selected this sewing machine because it was lightweight since I wanted to take it to classes. The extra bonus feet were a plus since they included a Walking Foot for quilting.
The only thng I don't like is the cover but that is ok since I have a case I will be using instead.
This machine has a lot of features and is more than I expected. It sews great so I am very pleased with it.
It also arrived very quickly, just in time for Christmas.

This machine is great. After you figure out the instructions for using the electronic part of it, it is a dream...This machine in stores is higher in price. I bought this for my mother for her birthday and she loves it.

I received machine, the bobbin holder was broken and so was the latch for the extra compartment. The machine made noise but didn't run. overall the machine looks nice and I am sure it is a very good machine I just got a lemon. I sent item back, waiting for refund.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter's 25th birthday. It came in a very short period of time. I was so surprised because it was also Christmas.
She loves it. It works great and shopping was so easy.
