I must say I was skeptical when I first got this product. I had a large (1.5 inch) and uneven rip on my dark brown leather couch - caused by my dog? wear and tear? my 9-year-old nephew poking his finger in it and stretching it? I am actually quite pleased with how the repair turned out. I was a bit turned off by the length of the instructions at first but they proved to be quite helpful when I actually read them carefully (I am anti-instructions in general). I practiced on the piece of vinyl provided and would recommend you do the same. Mixing the paints to your desirable color may be tricky, I learned from reviews of other leather repair kits, but I had no problem with it (perhaps because I paint with oil paints). Overall, a good product that helped me breathe a new life into my old couch at a time when I can't buy a new couch!

This product works for a fraction of the costs of some other repair kits. My leather couch is so faded you can see where the patch was applied but I don't really care. All I wanted was the hole to not get bigger and bigger with two kids and two dogs in the house. Delivered quickly, inexpensive and does what it says.

This product covered the hole in my platform bed but the color did not take. This is the first time I've purchased a product from Overstock.com and wasn't satisfied.

The instuctions were basic. The problem with this product is that it does not work.

Excited to get product as my leather seat in my "new" used car was torn in one spot. It bothered me and wanted to repair it immediately. The colors matched perfectly so I was thrilled......until the glue never ever dried enough to hold the tear closed so that I could apply the color match! Don't bother buying this as you will only be disappointed like I was! P.S. I still have the tear in the seat & it still drives me crazy

I bought this to repair a tear on the edgeof the seat of a golf cart. The product was too fluid to stay on the gap and the instuctions on how to mix the color were way off. Waste of money.

I would not recommend this product. it is a waste of money.It was hard to mix the color.

I would not try this product again. The color matches were anything but accurate, and one needs to be a trained artist, I think, to get a perfect color match. The application was not as easy as the ad made it sound. I ended up making the situation worse and had to eventually dispose of the chair I used it on.

This stuff takes FOREVER to dry and dried terribly shiny on my beautiful brand new leather chair. The chair got scraped against a wall and had a tiny tear. i wanted to prevent the tear from growing, so I used this. It looks like I put silly putty on my beautiful leather chair!! Horrible!!! Thank you for basically ruining a $$$$ chair!
