We bought the drawing table for my daughter's birthday. Putting the table together is definitely a two-person job - this is a step up from typical construct-at-home project. My main complaint about the product is that it was dented and dinged in many places. While I expect something like this to show wear over time, I was disappointed to start out that way.. The table itself, once constructed, seems fairly sturdy and my daughter seems to like it a lot.
This is an easy-to assemble, very light and functional chair. The up-down lever won't function if you weigh under 100 pounds, but otherwise, a great and comfortable desk chair.
it's hard to make desks truly sturdy, and probably impossible without all that weight and wood of an old fashioned desk. this is pretty sturdy, but has a little play. be careful to get the screws really tight. took me two tries to get the screws tight. the finish and the wood top are good and the tilting mechanism is actually really nice. i'm happy with it, and a light desk can be a nice thing.
I would have sent this back except for the cost of shipping...there was a scratch on table top, gouges out of the legs and the bolt holes for putting it together do not line up. There is NO quality about this unit. I received the wrong hardware packet, called company...they were nice and said would send correct hardware. Only took over a week to receive it from Cal. I'm just one state up from them. The description states the thing is "wood"... deceptive. It is a "paper thin" sheet of wood over particle board. Live and learn. Never again with this company__
Really glad that I purchased this table. It fits well in my traditional decor. My only complaint is that one of the legs was not completely sawed through where the rotation track fits. Luckily a kitchen utility knife fit into the slot and punched through the remaining wood. I would definitely purchase this again. This price was half that of the import store where I first spotted this item.
