  Don't buy to use on hot handles loop material is polyester which I hate would have preferred cotton material , seems to me it would melt when it meets heat, everything else in kit is plastic, Make these for coasters, bottle holder, just to look at, not pot holders or just to let the kids learn to make them I guess. Would I buy it again, no.

  lots of thread.....great colors.. ...good instructions!!!!! great for young girls to make all those friendship braclets that they love so much....the only thing that would have made this better is if the weaving form where a more durable material....they tend to get bent up easily..especially as the girls where trying to learn the method.

  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. very nice quality thread...heavier than your everyday embroidery floss...the weaving rings are paper so they do get bent up easily.

  Bought this kit for my 13 year old daughter who loves to make projects and she loved it. It was a little challenging, but fun for her to create something that she could give to someone else as a gift.

  Gift for an 8 year old and 11 year old. Took dad's help to figure out how to make the bowls. Very confusing and both bowls cracked before they were finished.

  I thought that these were ceramic pets, but they are not. Not a bad thing, just not what I expected. In our set, some of the markers were dried out, but frankly, just a few included anyway, my son ended up just using his regular markers to color the pets. He and his cousin had a good time making them. Worth the price on Overstock, but I'm not sure that I would pay retail for this kit.
