I received the sewing machine and when I set it up to use it, the bobbin winding shaft was missing. I called Singer, three calls and several hours later I reached a person. I was told the machine was defective and that I should call Overstock.com and ask them to replace the machine. I called Overstock.com and the customer service rep I spoke with informed me that they didn't have any move of the machines in stock. He went on to say we only had nine to begin with, and with yours we have gotten seven of them back now. I realize I purchased a refurbished machine, but I guess I expected better. Obviously Singer has a quality assurance problem when they refurbish machines and Overstock should look at what they are selling.
