Frye 'Laney Button' Women's Flats

Shoes are cute, if you are in the market for a loafer. However, they are not comfortable--the underside of the top of the shoe (the part that sits on top of your toes) is extremely uncomfortable. I don't know if I needed to get a half size larger (I doubt it, because they would probably fall off), but they are almost impossible to wear for any amount of time and they are flats!!! I don't hate them, but I don't love them either.

I'm a fan of Frye shoes. I have several pairs and they are all of good quality. I bought these shoes in "brick". The color is rich and a bit darker in person than they appear on the internet. Other reviews remark on the discomfort of the shoe at the top of your foot. This is true. Be prepared to wear these shoes with a thin sock initially. I've worn them for a few weeks and the leather is beginning to allow for more room and are becoming much more comfortable. Do not buy these shoes if you plan to use them for a lot of walking. These shoes are more of a driving flat as much of the bottom are reinforced leather with only three areas covered with rubber. I do a lot of traveling so it is a perfect slip on shoe for driving and quick trips in and out of the car.

Because I live in the city, I walk almost everywhere I go. Comfortable shoes are a must. But, I also like them because they are cute and I can wear them with slacks or jeans and still look professional. They are also a good quality shoe that will last me a long time.

Beautiful, comfortable shoes. Great value. They feel like gloves on my feet. I highly recommend them.

The shoes are actually alot nicer than they look in the pics..I had actually contemplated cancelling the shipment after I placed the order. I am glad I didnt. They are very comfortable and true to size. I actually have a wide foot and thought they might be tight but they are not at all. They actually feel a bit loose..
