Tommy Bahama Women's 'Jewel of the Nile' Sandals

It is difficult to recommend sizing on products since everyone is built differently. But I can say that I almost always wear a size 6 in any sandal. On rare occasions I have been able to buy a 5.5 or a 6.5 when I loved a shoe and they were out of my size--but mostly I am a standard size 6. These sandals were too big on me both in the length of the footbed and the height of the straps (meaning the leather upper was too loose on my foot). I do have a more slender foot, but I would guess if you had a wide foot the footbed wouldn't be wide enough for you. Perhaps they would fit someone with a high arch better or someone who could order down a half size. The shoes were very cute, and the quality was pretty good. I would have kept them if the fit was better. I hate returnign things but they will have to go back. (Overstock has always been fine with returns for me--just FYI if you are concerned about that). I would recomment them if the sizing was better, or if you could figure out which size is best for you. They are marked made in Brazil--if that is important to you. (I find the best shoes are usually made in Italy, but Spain and Brazil are usually pretty good too).
