I thought the collar would stand up..it doesn't. You'll need to wrap it with a scarf. I normally wear a 10-12, and was glad I bought the 14...the coat runs small. The metal snaps look great...but on the cuffs they don't stay closed so well. Besides all this...I still like the coat....but next time I'll shoot for something a little longer in length.
