Max & Cleo Spaghetti Strap Lace Dress

I bought this dress for a very special 13 year old; she tried it on tonight (size 10) and she was immediately transformed from a shorts & t-shirt tomboy to a beautiful angel!!! When I was looking at all the dresses, I kept coming back to this one; now I know why. It absolutely took my breath away and I was thrilled beyond belief that she loved it, her mother loved it and I have a feeling her dad is going to be stunned to see his little girl in a whole new light! The bodice was perfectly modest for a girl her age; not cut too deeply but embraced her curves in a very flattering way (she might not have to wear a bra because it was form fitting enough not to gap, etc.) Depending on which picture or graphic you look at, it may look VERY gold but it is an ivory color leaning towards pale peach (at least in the lighting in my living room). I had also ordered a pair of BCBG shoes for her in 'nude' and they looked almost gaudy, so she's planning to wear a gold sandal which looks very elegant with the dress. We now know that the BCBG juniors line is absolutely perfect for her; in the future, that's where we'll start looking (on Overstock, of course)!!! Thanks, O, for helping to make her 8th grade graduation so extra special...

My daughter is hard to please and I dreaded dress shopping for her very special sweet 16 party - we took a leap of faith based on the reviews and tried this as her signature dress. She loved it ¿ it¿s sweet and sophisticated ¿ we will have to do something at the bust line but she is a size 6 and it fit perfectly otherwise ¿ We will have a pair of shoes died to match the belt on the dress and I suspect she will get a lot of ¿where did you get that dress ¿ when the party arrives. Really nice dress for a special occasion

absolutely gorgeous! normally wear a 2, but can sometimes wear a 4, and 2 wasn't available, so i tried the 4. it was too big. surprisingly, i managed to take it in myself and it fit beautifully. so, if you are between two sizes and want it to fit as it is intended up top (as a corset), go for the smaller size. i am 5'5 and the dress fell just below my calf (little longer than in the picture). after taking it in, the bust fit very tightly (i'm a C cup), so for those a little bit more busty than myself, be warned. oh, and you don't need a bra with the dress, there is some light padding. the thin straps look just like the ones used for hanging the dress, don't know why they're there. as with the other reviewers, i wore it strapless. highly recommend this dress.

The dress was gorgeous! Cream and gold, looked fabulous with strappy gold heels. The corseted waist made me feel skinnier, but I would have definitely chosen one size up from my normal size; it seems to fit a little small.
