You do have to order a size smaller than you usually wear. The arch support is a little higher than I need, but I think the more I wear them the more the cork will mold to your foot. They look and feel the exactly like the 100 dollar Birks. This is my first purchase from the Birkenstock line and for right now I am satisfied.

these are very comfortable and a good shoe for people that move around alot

Great price and kids love them, but sole wears out very fast so I have to buy them very frequently. It's more expensive to replace the sole than to buy a new pair.

The quality of this product was not as good as I expected. The staples in the side of the shoes were not pressed in smoothe. I have had Betula's before and have been very satisfied with them. The person I ordered them for said the shoe fit is narrow. So when ordering I will keep that in mind. I would generally rate this brand higher, however the pair did not come up to standard. I did not return the product. I smoothed the staple myself. I know I should not do that but I did not have the time to return the shoe.
