I can't say much about fit or comfort because it was a gift and I haven't heard specifics back from the recipient. However, it looked nice when I received it and wrapped it for him. The vertical lines are a bit more pronounced than I expected and the fabric is "thinner" than I expected but the fabric feels high quality and has a nice look to it. I think this sweater would look very nice on a man, although I haven't actually seen it on one!
