One of my favorites. Great for the New York winters.
This is a nice jacket, not super heavy and would be great for fall. I found the shoulders/upper arms a bit too tight, and then it was too loose around the midriff to hips, so I gave it to a friend who had that body shape (doesn't work with broader shoulders, I don't think). Collar on the jacket was definitely wider, but I thought it balanced out the flare of the bottom half of the jacket, and looked fine. Overall, I liked the jacket, just not a great fit for me.
Jacket looks fabulous and feels wonderful! Great value! ABB
it is hard to tell in the picture online, but the collar on this coat is huge and looks weird. i hate it. the style is not for me. the quality is nice. it came with an odd smell. i'm returning this.
I got two of these (different colors), & previously have gotton 2 other (also down) styles from Via Spiga......they are classy, well-made, comfortable, really warm for whichever warmth level they say, light weight, (washable, though I haven't done that yet), fun to wear. They really look great on!!!!!! Many complements. Via Spiga takes a simple coat & brings so much style to it with simple (the hardest to do) cuts, & things they do with the material. I love all my Via Spiga coats. As far as being true to size, I don't know. I'm slim but tall, so get a large for the sleeve length & I like a little room in my coats....not too much. Also, Overstock is always great!
I've been a fan of down jackets ever since I bought my first one and felt its warmth. Since my other one is knee-length, I find it too warm for temperatures in the mid-30's to upper 40s. This jacket is just the right one. It is light, has a flattering cut and despite the medium fill power, keeps you warm still. One thing I don't like is that I find a few down and feathers on me every time I take it off. Not that big of a deal but it's just that I don't get all that feather-y with my other jacket.
