These are great boots for the money. They are well made. They fit and look great.

I would buy these boots over and over again. The leather feels so great on your skin. Comfort is great. I have had numerous compliments on them.

The Via Spiga Layla boot is beautiful, seems true to size, and a nice 2" heel that thankfully wasn't made into a wedge. As you know, Gentle Reader, more often than not, a shoe with a heel less than 2 3/4 " seems to be offered only in a frumpy, five-minutes-ago wedge. My only complaint is that I do not care for the placement of the gore. It is on the top back, and is not the usual type-leather covered vertical pleats-but instead, an uncovered u shaped insertion that is pretty darn big. Also, it doesn't come close to the color of the leather ( I bought the brown). It's a shame as the leather is fantastic quality. But I can't get past the distracting maternity panel on the back, so back they go.

I ordered these boots in black, and I love them. They are true to size and have a nice short heal...easy for walking. When I first tried to put them on, the right one was really tight, but they loosened up within an hour of wearing them and they are really comfortable. The buttery soft leather is to die for :)
