These books look even better than they are shown. Leather is good quality and sole is solid. They are a very good quality for the price. I love the chains on them....very equestrian looking. And they are nice and tall for those of uswho have a longer leg (I am about 5' 7"). My only complaint is that the body of the boot (shank?) is very slim. I have average sized calves and usually boots run too big for me in the calf area, however, these boots are a very close fit without tucking pant legs into them. When I tried them on with skinny jeans, they were very tight and difficult to put on. I am bringing them to a cobbler to have them stretched a bit. Also, they do not have the inside tabs/hooks to use boot tools to pull them on. So, if you have larger calves, these are not the boots for you. Otherwise, I love them.

I LOVE these boots, and I got them for such a steal on Overstock! I was able to wear them for five hours the first day without them torturing my feet. They just immediately feel good! Make sure to give them a leather treatment so that they wear well through the crazy winter weather (Aldo makes a great spray).

I purchased these boots specifically to wear over jeans and tights. They are the perfect color and are easy to match up with belts and purses of the same color scheme. They look like a $300+ boot and are extremely comfortable. The leather is of high quality and may take a few wearings to relax them a bit. I would highly recomend these boots!
