I just received my xs coat in the mail today and the moment I pulled it out of the package, I knew I would be happy! The coat looks great with both jeans and a skirt with tights. The fit is nice, especially since I am petite--usually have a difficult time finding a coat that can fit me perfectly and look good on as well. I am 5"4 and the coat is neither too long or too short--just the right length. The only down side is that the coat is not that warm. I live in the midwest and the winters are extremely brutal here, so I needed something that is a little more warm; although the coat would be perfect for the fall. This was my first purchase from Overstock and I will definately shop again.

I'm a size 6 or 8; based on the reivews I've read, where many writers said it ran small,I sized up to a medium. It was way too small,and I tried it on over a tee-shirt.If you zip the jacket up all the way, the collar, which is very stiff, scratches your neck; the only way it was comfortable is if you unzipped it so that the collar laid completely flat (near the bustline). Considering it's a down parka and meant for cold weather it seems pointless to have a jacket you have to keep 1/3 open.Disappointed because Via Spiga generally makes stylish and comfy clothing. Am returning it.

It is great short coat for the value. Am 5'6", 100#, and XS fits me perfectly. Believe me, I have hard time finding coat that will fit me properly, flatter my lanky shape, and keep me warm at the same time. It is very warm, chic and stylish. Perfect for a on-the-go City gal like me.

Here in New England we crave warmth and this coat delivers. It's very cute and cozy, fits well and feels good. I would recommend it!

The coat is beautiful as well as the length and the price. The upper bust and shoulder was designed for a teenager and not a woman. Those areas are too snug for me. The band around the hem although stylish is too restrictive.

The Via Spiga Women's Black Satin Down Coat fits like a glove. I love it! The size chart was a little confusing because I am 5'8" 160lbs, 34" bust, 29" waist, but 42" hips. So I purchased a Size Large and it fits my bust, waist and hips just fine. I was concerned about the top being big and gapping, but that didn't happen. The coat is warm, classy, and wears well with dressess or jeans. I wish I had bought it earlier in the Season to have gotten much more use of it.

I really love this coat! Fits better than any coat I've ever bought - looks really stylish - and is super warm and protects against the wind even in the cold of a Chicago winter. Probably the best purchase I've made in the last six months!

This coat is warm enough on a winter weather,the prize is right.The coat runs smaller on the chest that might fit tight for those with fuller breast size.

This coat is a great value for the money. I found it fits true to size (I'm 5'5" and weigh 125 lbs - the small fits perfectly), and can be dressed up or down. It's very warm without being too bulky.

This is a really nice coat you can wear for casual or semi-dressy functions. The satin looks really nice. I bought the medium because I'm 5'11 and have very long arms and wanted to be sure the arm length would work for me. It did! The arm length is almost perfect, definitely not too short. The coat isn't as fitting as I'd like it to be but I had to sacrifice getting the small to make sure that the arm length would be long enough. Going to see if I can't get it altered to be a little more snug on me. All in all, a good coat. Would recommend to a friend.

It is a very nice coat. It keeps you warm and cozy. I was looking for a coat like this, so I am very happy. The only drawback is that it runs a little smaller so, order one size up.

Very pleased with this jacket and the quality. I ordered the small, which I normally wear, and immediately after receiving this jacket I put in on over a thick sweater and it fit great. The inside of the left hand side has a small zippered pocket (big enough for license, money etc.) The inside of the right hand side has a bigger zippered pocket. I am 56 and the jacket hits about mid thigh as the picture shows. The only potential issue I could see someone having with this jacket is with the pockets as they are more toward the middle of the jacket (over the stomach) as opposed to the sides (by the hips) as is more usual. I do not think you can really tell this from the picture. However, since this jacket is not intended as a form fitting jacket but a warm stylish winter jacket, I did not have a problem with it. I like the fact that I could wear this jacket to work with dress pants on those cold winter days as the satin makes it that much more stylish, but also wear with jeans on the weekends.

I purchased this coat several weeks ago so I have not had the chance to wear it in the cold yet. It is very nice...however, I did not find it to be true to size. I am 5' 6" and 108 lbs. . I ordered Medium because my arms are long...usually med. is just fine. This med. pulled in the back as soon as I had it on,and for me, this made the sleeves too short, though it looked very nice, it was uncomfortable, so I got it in large which is a little bigger fit than I prefer, but it's more comfortable...I also almost always have on an extra sweater when it's cold out so I need the extra room. It seems like it will keep me warm....I really like the length...about mid calf.

I was skeptical about this coat because I couldn't decide on the size xs or small. I am 5'3" and 110 pounds. I ordered the xs after reading the reviews and it is perfect. It just came today and I tried it on with a medium/heavy sweater and it looks great. It feels a little constricting if I lift my arms up all the way, but if I had gotten the small I may have lost the beautiful fitted look the coat offers. This winter coat actually has a shape. I ordered the xs so that it would not be baggy, but rather curvy...it is exactly what I wanted. Now I am thinking of ordering the brown too!

i just got this coat in brown i am going to buy it in black ,it fits true to your size.yes its true that the zipper keeps getting stuck along the way but who cares,its beautiful.:)
