I liked the coat but I think it runs a bit big. I ordered a size 10 but should have went with the 8. Also my buttons do NOT say Via Spiga on them, that would have looked cute I think. Overall the coat is, meh. Definitely not a must have item as I mentioned but every once in a while I do wear it. I was going to return it but just kept it and figured I will try to make it work.

The fabric is super itchy. I will always need to wear this coat with a turtle neck and long-sleeve shirt.Besides that this coat is very nice, and good for the price.It looks great with a differente belt as well.I got the grey one, and I found it to be the perfect coat for the cold weather that is coming.

I really like this coat a lot. I purchased it for a recent trip to Sweden. It was nice and warm. It was dressy enough to wear with dresses and skirts but looked great with jeans as well. It runs pretty true to size, if anything a bit small. I usually wear a size 2 in coats but the size 4 fits just right.

This coat is wonderful. It really spruces up an outfit and keeps you warm. As far as the fitting, I didn't seem to have any problems. I tend to run bottom heavy so would go with whatever size you wear down below for this purchase.

This coat looks and feels great. Its pretty warm as well - warm enough for the mid-western winter weather if you are in and out of a car. I wouldn't recommend standing on an L train platform in 0 degree weather for too long in this one, though. I am a plus size 18-20, but I ordered the coat in a 22 to accommodate for bulky sweaters, etc. This worked out great. The fit is nice, but I do not get the gather in the back as shown in the photo. I am still pleased with the look of the coat. I would recommend this product.

This coat is everything I hoped it would be--warm & chic. The lining is very pretty- I've received lots of compliments on the belt and lining. It's a perfect length for pants and skirts (jeans, too). Looks great with tall black boots, too! Completely UNbulky and thinning.

I received my coat today and have to say I am very impressed with the quality. It fits perfect for my size (12)and is a much needed addition to my coat collection. I typically go for the classic styling of a Pea Coat, but found this to be a bit different and like the longer length. I did find that with the coat being my true size, it does not gather in the back as pictured, but it is great looking all the same.This coat was an excellent value.

I looked for quite awhile to find a dressy coat that looked classy but was still relatively comfortable and functional. This was it! I am 5'8" and weigh 145 lbs. I ordered the 10 and it works well. I can wear a big sweater and it still fits but when I try a thick velvet blazer underneath it is tight. I live in the northeast and the coat keeps me warm. I am very happy with the purchase!

I bought this mainly to begin wearing next winter, as I am currently pregnant. However, I have worn it a couple of times already because I couldn't wait! This is a beautiful coat. The material is top quality, it's so stylish and comfortable. You can't beat the price - it is definitely worth more than this. I can't wait until next year when I am back to my normal shape so I can really show off this coat!

I received the coat on 1/9/09 along with the Tammy Mars duster which is simply georgeous. After reading the reviews I ordered a size up size 14W in grey. I am 5'8 and normally wear a size large. The next larger size available was an 18 I knew that the size 18 would have been extremely large. The size 14W did not fit me well at all. The coat was too loose in the chest area and too large everywhere else. When I belted and cinched the coat it looked like I'd stepped over into a barrel. I tried to adjust it several times by loosening and tightening the belt. I think the 14W is cut shorter and wider than a regular size 14. The reviews were right on the money when they said to order a size up to get the gathered look in the back. I must say that when I pulled all the extra fabric to the back I did get the gathered look like in the picture. The look didn't last long though everytime I moved I got the barrel look again :-) I can't accurately comment on the fit of the coat because I ordered the wrong size. The coat itself is a really nice coat. Simple elegance just my style, you can look very well put together without trying. As the reviews state, the lining which is not mentioned is beautiful. Very feminine and classy looking, elegant floral leaf pattern on a yellow background. I returned the coat today to order the size 14 regular. Thank you customer service for explaining everything to me about the return process and being professional and very nice about it.

I gave this coat to myself as a Christmas present and I am SO glad I did.I was looking for a longer ,warmer coat and this fit the bill perfectly.It is not only warm, but very chic. The shell is thick and the lining is beautiful.The coat looks very expensive and is well worth double the price.I am actually thinking of getting another one in a smaller size as I am losing weight (really) and want to make sure I have this coat next winter!

I am just absolutely thrilled with this coat! I received it on Friday and my first day to work, it was cold, windy and snowy. Thank goodness for this coat! It is warm and I feel like a million bucks in it. I took the advice of other reviewers and ordered two sizes larger. I am relatively broad-shouldered and have a larger chest so I have a very difficult time finding coats that fit well. The beauty of this coat is in the design of the waist. It cinches in nicely, so I had a good fit around my shoulders and could cinch it in at the waist and it does not look boxy.Great value, especially for the money. I feel like I made a good investment that will last me a long time.Oh and yes...do not forget about the lining, just gorgeous!

Received this coat as a belated Christmas present. Love the design of it, was planning on having the sleeves and underarm tailored because they ran too big on me. (I need a plus size coat ) However, upon further inspection I noticed damage (scratches) to the patent trim on the sleeves, and a small tear in the wool. So...it's going back! No Christmas present for me...

This coat appears to be of pretty high quality - the fabrics feel good, the buttons are well sewn, etc. However the shape is strange. It fits narrowly through the shoulders, upper back and chest, but there's tons of material in the bottom half. It was difficult to cinch the waist with the belt because of the excess material. The skirt ballooned out all around me. Bulky, unflattering look. Besides, I would imagine that there'd be quite a draft on windy days.

Beautiful coat, soft and elegant looking. The lining is indeed a pretty bonus and adds to the "feel," of it. 3 pretty minor concerns: I am a 2 and glad I followed advice in the prior reviews &ordered a 4. The other is fit related too. The grommets and the belt seem to be a little high waisted for me, and is uncomfortable if cinched tightly, so you don't get that nice look in the back, of waist defintion.. The last is related to warmth. It feels very light in weight, so I don't anticipate wearing it if I am going to be out in the cold for any length of time. Still I am keeping it and look forward to wearing it soon.

Coat is really nice and warm. The liner makes it even more attractive. my only quam would be that it fits too true to size ..if you are bigger up top should probably order a larger size, especially to get the gathered effect in the back as shown on the picture. But overall a GREAT coat at a GREAT price.

This via spiga coat is made of top quality material and is absolutely beautiful. The linning of the coat adds to the character of it. I love everything about this coat and was extra happy with the price. thank you overstock for another winner!!
