U&I Men's Navy Plaid Two-button Sport Coat

This sportcoat is about what I expected for the price. It isn't top quality, but it isn't bad for what it is. Positives: It looks more or less like it does on the site, no surprises. It has kind of a 1980's or early '90s punk or ska look, which for a 41 year old like me is a plus (it may be meant for someone a bit younger, but I like the "retro" style which goes back to my HS and college days). The fabric is pretty thin/lightweight so it can be worn year round, and it is 100% wool which is nice at this pricepoint. Shipping was very quick. Negatives: While I like the style, I'm not sure it is really work-appropriate for the office. Luckily, I'm a teacher and can go more casual, but for those that can't, you may want to keep this in mind. The fabric isn't the highest quality (it is pretty thin) and there are some loose threads. The lapel came slightly misshapen due to shipping (I suspect that it just needs to be pressed though to fix it). My biggest complaint is in the cut. I ordered a size which usually fits well- it doesn't on this sportcoat. It is extremely tight in the seat and it is far too tight when I button it, yet it still somehow looks like an oversized sack when I put it on. It definitely needs a trip to the tailors for some serious altering, but then, any off the rack suit or jacket will need altered to fit correctly. Overall verdict: They say you get what you pay for. This isn't some super deal where it is worth 2 or 3 times what you paid for it, but it isn't junk either. It is a decent, inexpensive sportcoat. It is on the casual side so if that works for you, it will be a good looking jacket. It does need a bit more altering that the typical off the rack sportcoat or suit, but they all need something so it isn't a big deal. I would recommend it, but don't expect more than you are getting.

My blazer just arrived, great packaging, and everything looked perfect. Once I tried it on everything became a nightmare! The arm openings are cut to almost halfway down the sides of the jacket ..... why? It almost felt like I was trying on a women's jacket! Very disapointed! Contacted return department and am returning it tomorrow. DON'T BUY THIS JACKET !!!

The sleeves are stupid! They tried to give it a elbow patch, but only did it on half of the sleeve. Looks stupid, and feels stupid.

An extremely handsome blazer. My husband was very skeptical when I showed him the picture of the jacket I had ordered for him. He was pleasantly surprised that the fit was perfect, the quality superior and plaid pattern did not look like an old man jacket. He recently wore it to a social function and received so many compliments on the jacket. Great find...grat buy! Thank you O.co!
