I really like this coat - and was surprised at the excellent quality for the price. The coat runs a bit small - I'm a tall medium (size 8) and I comfortably fit into the large. The interior liner gives the coat versatility - it works well in the cooler Northeast. I walked through the city nice and toasty warm and very dry (and stylish, too). The belt is a little awkward to use - a bit stiff I thought. Other than that, it's a great jacket.
This coat is so stylish! The lining is very very heavy which I didnt expect and now am pleasantly happy. It fits pretty snug with the liner. I am in a Northern climate and plan to use it for Fall and Spring without the liner.
I got a lot of stop & stare wearing this Trench Coat on those rainy days... I'm 5'1 & have a petite body. I don't remember if there was a size choice or if it was a one size fits all. I do know that it was too big on me and I have to create a hole to on the belt to make it fit around my waist. The arms' width was definitely too wide! I give it a 4 stars just because it looks exactly like the photo. That 1 star I left out is because it felt a bit heavy. I probably should of gotten black but I wanted to stand out in silver. Goes great with silver rain boots!
Looks nice, however when I unwrapped the coat there was a noxious plastic smell as the coat is made of "PVC" ---- the same stuff they make plastic plumbing out of. Also, I found the sleeves to be a little short. Probably should have ordered the next size up.
This trench is fantastic....I took the lining out...because I live in Florida...people smile when they see it. yay!
Nice coat with excellent smooth supple fabric. I like the warm liner that can be removed for warmer weather. Style suits me and I have even had a couple of compliments from strangers.
Just as I have expected. Gorgeous coat. Love it. the only thing is the belt. It's way too big. Other than that it's perfect.
This was my first purchase and the trench coat was exactly what I wanted, you can wear it in the winter and summer it has a full shell linning for the cold weather that comes out for the summer, the price was right and it fit perfect, I am going to purchase more products in the future.
This is a great quality coat. I removed the button-out liner immediately, because it's not that cold in October in Texas right now.( I'll be glad to have it in January.) We do have alot of rain and this coat has been perfect at repelling water. The only complaint I have, and I've noticed this may be common in raincoats, is that the sleeves could be a little longer. (I'm a size 8 and purchased a Medium. )I paid a little more than I normally would for a raincoat, but this one is so unique that I believe it is worth it and I will have it for a long time!
I was disappointed in this trench coat for a few reasons. I knew that it was patent but expected it to be a little softer than it was. It reminded me of a inexpensive slicker. For the price point, it was probably ok but it looked shabby to me. The sizing was off as well. I am a size 4 and therefore ordered a small. It was tight and the sleeves were too short. Based on the fit of the garment I think the sleeves would have been just as short in the medium. I was looking for something a little dressier than the basic trench. The over length was also too short. The coat went back this morning. I have done quite a bit of shopping on overstock and have faith in their products. I should have paid more attention to the other reviewers about the sizing. I am trying another trench that is on overstock - more traditional and from a known designer.
Thisi is great trenchcoat. I've received compliments, very chic, and zip out lining a plus for chilly spring/fall days. Good for day and dressy enough for evening too.
I was really surprised to see that the coat is exactly similar to the description, as well as the picture. Not to mention the excellent quality for the price, the fast speed of shipping (Eastern Canada), and quick reply from Customer Service. I thank overstock. Translated by Google
