This is an elegant coat for a young lady, lighter weight but warm enough to go to and from car/house/church/restaurant in inclement weather, even in our WI winters. Not meant for play, so wouldn't stay out long in really cold weather. Runs a little long, bought a size 8 for my GrandNiece who is usually in a size 7 and she will probably be able to wear it for 2 years. The bell sleeves are gorgeous. She looked like a princess in it with the muff and hat I bought her! Great price for a quality coat. Thanks for the great service, received the coat 3 days after ordering it! Super!

I purchased this cute coat for my daughter who is seven. I found the size 8 true to size, and although the sleeves are slightly long for her right now I do feel like she has some room to grow. The cut is classic and stylish, and we received numerous compliments when she wore it. I rated the coat good rather than excellent as i do not find it to be as high a quality product as Rothschild brand (her previous dress coat) and slightly lighter weight (although still lined) but for the money, I would certainly reccomend this purchase.

I am a petite person but like to look in children's gender clothing because the proportions are usually better. I have a difficult time with sleeves and overall fit. I can wear a size 14 (XL) in big girl's sizes, but the description said this coat runs large so I ordered a size 12 (L) The size 12 (L) big girl's size is equivalent to about a 0P (adult petite sizing). This is a mid-weight wool coat and is actually longer in length than expected, but I bought this for freezing winter weather so I think it will feel like a warm blanket but look like a stylish coat! This truly is more of an "overcoat" style and skims the body. I already have other coats that are fitted at the waist so I appreciate the cut of this coat and will add to the variety in my closet. 80% wool, price is great at $****. I will have to use my lint-roller prior to first wearing, and snip some long threads off (hence the 4 star rating), but overall this is a great coat that I would probably pay more for if I wasn't such a bargain hunter! I ordered one for my 6 year old grandaughter to complete a Christmas outfit. It was so beautiful and nicely made that I ordered a second one for my 9 year old one as well. An excellent value and so stylish. Overstock you never cease to amaze me. Thank you once again.
