A good key holder protects your pants pocket from punctures and has an external ring for your most frequently used keys. This one allows for seldom used keys to stay enclosed while the car and door key are on the outer ring. My previous purchase from another website was nice looking, but the keyhooks eventually wore through their soft brass spine from friction and they fell out with the keys attached. It happened only to the keys I left sticking out of the key holder.This key holder is nice looking and is not going to wear out some flimsy brass key holders. I have had it for two months and so far so good.

My Dad (94 years old) could not find any leather key cases in local stores, and reluctantly used my Mom's key ring for the past year. We surprised him with this key case on his birthday. It's pretty neat when a man that old grins like a kid with a birthday present! He transferred his keys over the next day, and is very happy with it. The only problem I see with any key case is that automotive keys are pretty bulky when they have remote features. However, this case is roomy enough to still close even with a bulky key.

I had been looking far and wide for a key holder for my grandfather, who has always carried one since the days when they were common in department stores. There are a handful of styles out there and it took a while to decide, but I finally settled on this item (because it featured 8 rings vs. the standard 6) and I'm thrilled that I did. I purchased the "Cognac" color and found it to be ever-so-slightly darker (and richer) in person than pictured in the photo. It isn't a significant difference, and I think it's an improvement. The photos don't even really do it justice - it's a very well-crafted key holder, with nice sturdy (but simple to use) rings, and it comes in a lovely little box - just a whole lot of attention to detail overall. I'd recommend it in a heartbeat, and I can't wait to give it as a gift.

I purchased this for my husband. He is thrilled that it is wide (has room for 8 keys) as well as long enough to accommodate a long Subaru car key. The tip stays within the folds of the leather, keeping the key from ultimately poking a hole in his pants pocket. He loves it!

I purchased this for my husband for Christmas. He wanted to have a case that would hold 8 keys. These can be hard to find. This one is very nice but I will pass on to you what his response was: "Best key chain I have ever owned but this product desperately needs a set of instructions showing how to put the keys on the loops. I only discovered it by using pliers and even then it was accidental. When you have to use pliers you need to say so " Nevertheless, it is an excellent product and as he said, the best one he has ever owned.

I purchased this as a christmas gift for a 80 yr old attorney. His previous one was worn and some key rings missing. I'm not one to buy sight unseen, unless I have physically seen the same item in a store, especially an item like this as you can't really tell if it is of good quality or not.
