I agree with most of the other reviews that this coat is very form fitting and you may have to get 1 size larger to accommodate bulky sweaters. It fit me well (5'4", 36, 29, 36) and I love the length (just before the bottom of the butt). The black color and cut means I can wear it with jeans, dresses, or dress pants and look classic and stylish. I will probably add a colorful scarf and red leather gloves to make the look complete. I hope to wear this for many years.

Really nice peacoat that will last many years. Just what I was looking for. My only complaint is that the pockets are a little too shallow. Order a size or two larger if you want to wear a winter scarf tucked in it.

The sizing in the coat is generous, which means I should be able to wear it over a jumper (sweater) and scarf. It's the perfect length and looks fabulous on. A very happy customer!

Based on everyone's reviews I figured a size 6 would fit perfect. I expected the jacket to be fitted. After all I weight 120, I'm a 36 C, with a 28 inch waist and my height is 5feet. The jacket looked great in the plastic bag, but not on me. I was drowning in it. The sleeves were so long and the jacket was not only huge, but stiff. I like to wear my jackets open depending on the blouse or outfit I'm wearing and the jacket didn't look right open. My boyfriend also agreed that it look too big. So I ended up returning the jacket. 

This coat is too cute! Very nicely tailored and flattering for me as I am 5'10" and well proportioned. Sleeves are just right...love the Tommy touches!

After reading other reviews I decided to get my 'typical' size of 6. I agree it does fit snug, but the style is a more fitted style and is still adorable so I will keep it. I am 5'2, 118 lbs, busty (34d), and could use an 8 if I want to wear anything other than lightweight tops. I am a typical medium, with short arms so the sleeves will need a little hem but for the avg person they are probably perfect. It's good for work wear and transitions easily to casual jeans. Great overall coat and very warm for our chilly winters in Utah.

I was impressed with the quality and construction. The sleeves were fairly long, but not a problem for me, as I am a steamstress and can alter them. It is really a sharp looking coat and will really be an asset to my wardrobe. In truth, it looks so much more expensive than I expected. I would recommend it to anyone. I normally wear a size 10, but I am happy I ordered a 12, after reading other reviews. They were a great help. A Great coat!

I got this coat for my 17 year old granddaughter. She likes form fitting clothes and this fits the bill. It has a moderate princess line to it and it fits her perfectly. She wears a size 9 and I got her the size 10 coat. She usually goes along with what the kids are wearing now . . . tank tops, skinny jeans and zippered sweatshirts. This is the first "real" piece of clothing that she has shown any interest in. I am glad I found this coat, it will last her a while and remain good looking due to the careful construction.

I'm enjoying my new coat. I bought a size 12 to fit over sweaters and usually wear a 10. The sizing is good. As others said the sleeves are quite long. The hand pockets are small and I wish that the coat featured an inside secure pocket as men's jackets do. The lining is very attractive and the coat seems well made and a very good value. I'll be wearing it for years.

Nice Coat, but according to the size it was too small for me and I even went to the tommy hilfiger size chart online and the coat is a little tight according to the sixe i thought i needed. I would recommend ordering up a size. Also it looks more like a double breasted blazer once it was on me, so I sent it back. It jsut wasn't what I was looking for.

This is the 3rd pea coat I've tried this year and this is exactly what I've been looking for. The quality for the price is excellent and the fit is very true to size with plenty of room for a sweater. The lining is beautiful and it just seems really well made. The fit is very feminine and flattering and the length is perfect - just below the hip. Very happy!

I've been looking for a good quality peacoat for a long time. My old one has worn out. The good: The wool is soft and NOT itchy. It is very warm. The lining and pockets are well made. It's very flattering on. The bad: I'm not a fan of the overstock sizing. Check Tommy Hilfiger's website for more accurate sizing. I've been losing weight, so it's hard for me to know what size I really am. I would go by what size you usually are - maybe go up a size if you want to wear sweaters/sweatshirts under it. I am between a 6 and 8 right now. I got a 10 and it's pretty big. But it's perfect with my thick wool sweater under it. So that helps.

Beautiful black wool peacoat with a very nice royal blue lining. A little short in the arms for me, but I am tall and have longs arms. Otherwise, fit perfectly, true to size.
